On April 14, Khanh Hoa General Hospital said that a delegation of experts from Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital had just completed a working session to coordinate medical examination and treatment and technology transfer at the hospital's Orthopedic Trauma - Burn Center.
The program takes place in 2 days, to meet the needs of nearly 100 patients. Through examination, doctors have prescribed and performed surgery for 23 cases with complex medical conditions.

Notably, there are severe knee osteoarthritis, necrosis of the hamstring, complex fractures in both adults and children, severed anterior cruciate ligaments, defects in hand-foot soft tissue, as well as congenital musculoskeletal defects.
All surgeries are performed using modern techniques such as microsurgery, endoscopy and joint replacement, contributing to improving treatment efficiency and shortening recovery time for patients.
Notably, as soon as they arrived in Khanh Hoa, the expert team participated in the surgery of a severe multiple-injury case due to a traffic accident that occurred at Hon Ba Pass on April 10.
The patient suffered multiple fractures, complex condition, but the combined surgery was successful, and the patient's health is gradually stabilizing.
According to a hospital representative, the highlight of this activity is not only the treatment results but also the effectiveness of technology transfer right in clinical practice.
Provincial-level doctors are guided, directly approach and master specialized techniques, thereby improving on-site treatment capacity.
