Doctors at the Transport Hospital have just successfully operated to remove a giant soft tissue tumor in the right shoulder area from patient N.T.H (41 years old, in Khanh Hoa, a chef). The patient said that the shoulder tumor was discovered about 5 years ago. Initially, the tumor was small but gradually grew, causing the shoulders to swell and become unbalanced. After a clinical examination and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), doctors diagnosed the patient with a giant soft tissue tumor in the right shoulder area, requiring early surgery to avoid the risk of muscle compression, blood vessels and nerves.
