The event was organized by the Vietnam Sports Automobile Association in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province and other units, attracting the attention of many speed sports fans.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province emphasized the significance of the tournament in promoting the automobile sports movement, while promoting the local image.

This year's tournament brings together 25 runners from 10 provinces and cities with a developed sports car movement. Athletes will compete in 2 categories: front-wheel drive (FWD) and rear-wheel drive/2 (RWD/AWD), regardless of engine capacity, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
Gymkhana is a high-tech racing format, requiring drivers to not only have speed but also handle accurately through narrow obstacles, sharp bends and high-tech roads in the shortest time. Immediately after the opening ceremony, athletes entered to check the technique and get acquainted with the race.

The tournament is not only sporty but also contributes to spreading the message of traffic safety, technical driving and the culture of using healthy sports cars. After the Southern stage, the Northern rounds and the National Finals will take place in Quang Ninh (June) and Thanh Hoa (August).
