The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City, as part of a series of sports activities to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and towards the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Ly Ngoc Phong - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City and representatives of departments, branches, unions in the province, cultural, sports and broadcasting centers in the area.

This year's tournament brings together 106 athletes (71 male, 35 female) from districts and cities in the province, competing in two main events: competition (from 15 to 40 years old, 19 weight classes for men - women) and weightlifting (from 6 to 40 years old) with typical exercises such as Lao Ho Thuong Son, Lao Mai Quyen, Phong Hoa Dao, Roi Thai Son, ...

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Van Lam - Director of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center emphasized that the tournament is a useful playground, a place to select outstanding athletes to prepare for national sports competitions.
The traditional martial arts movement in Binh Duong is developing strongly, with 35 clubs and more than 2,000 martial arts students practicing regularly. Notably, Tan Khanh - Ba Tra Martial Arts Club is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. At the recent National Club Championship, the provincial team won 10 medals - an outstanding achievement.

The tournament takes place from May 30 to June 1, 2025. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the emulation contents began, attracting enthusiastic cheers from a large audience and delegates.
