FPT and creator technology company creform will coordinate to implement projects to digitize cultural heritage in Vietnam. The cooperation is expected by both sides to jointly build a leading heritage digitalization platform in Vietnam, on par with the standards currently applied in advanced countries.
cre creform's solution allows accurate digitization of every detail, material and shape of cultural artifacts, opening up the ability to restore quantum for tangible and intangible heritages, while supporting museums, archiving centers and cultural organizations to create high-precision digital data warehouses.
From there, both sides have the opportunity to develop virtual reality (VR) experiences, augmented reality (AR) and models of preservation and display on digital platforms.
It is estimated that the country currently has more than 40,000 relics and nearly 70,000 intangible cultural heritages inventoried, of which 34 heritages are recognized by UNESCO. The museum system includes 203 museums (127 public, 76 non-public), with more than 4 million artifacts preserved and on display.

Previously, on March 28, 2025, the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund and the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Department, the Institute of Information and Communications Technology CDIT, TikTok platform officially signed a cooperation agreement to preserve and promote the value of Vietnamese cultural heritage on digital platforms.
In addition, in the past, some relic sites and localities have achieved success in digitalizing heritage. For example, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just won the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2024 for its application of digital technology to preserve and promote the values of Hue's heritage and culture.
The unit has digitized more than 25,000 pages of Han Nom documents, 172 records (relic records, archaeological records, heritage records...), 250 royal decree photos, 295 poetic photos on Hue royal architecture...
