This cooperation allows content creators in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines to tag Lazada products directly in Facebook posts, and receive commissions for each completed purchase transaction. The program is expected to be integrated soon on the Instagram platform.
Through this cooperation program, content creators can now directly connect Lazada-linked marketing accounts with Facebook and in the near future with Instagram, search for products in Lazada's catalog and tag products directly in Reels content or posts on the Feed.
When viewers click on the product and complete the purchase transaction on Lazada, the content creator will receive a commission - all of which takes place in a seamless, continuous experience.
For brands and sellers on Lazada, opening product portfolios for content creators helps create a new channel to increase access to consumers and promote transformation. For shoppers, the product discovery process also becomes more intuitive and convenient.
Instead of having to leave the creator's post to access a separate link or search for the product themselves, they can directly click on the product in the content that has attracted them and continue their shopping journey on Lazada.
“Through this cooperation program with Meta, we are helping users easily switch from exploring products on Facebook and Instagram to completing shopping transactions on Lazada.
By creating a more seamless journey from product discovery to payment, we help brands and sellers connect more effectively with customers, while bringing a better shopping experience across Southeast Asia," said Mr. Jared Chan, Regional Linked Marketing Director of Lazada Group.
On the occasion of the Facebook linked marketing partnership program officially being implemented in the Vietnamese market, Lazada launched the "Product Card Challenge" program, with many offers taking place from July 2 to 31.
