Taking place from December 25 to 28, 2025 in Dong Da district, the Kim Lien flower garden campus became more vibrant than usual when the Green Market - Connecting Consumption with Cooperatives officially took place. The event was organized by the Hanoi Cooperative Alliance in coordination with the People's Committee of Kim Lien Ward, aiming to promote sustainable consumption and support cooperatives to expand markets.
From early morning, dozens of stalls were bustling with customers. The products are sold in a variety of ways, from clean agricultural products, processed foods, herbal drinks to handicrafts, environmentally friendly gifts. Many cooperatives offer products that meet OCOP standards, have clear origins, and are transparent in listed prices.
The first time attending the Green Market, Tran Minh Anh (student of the University of Water Resources, Hanoi) was quite excited. "I find the stalls decorated beautifully, with diverse products and reasonable prices. Many specialties were previously only available online, now they are tried directly so I really like them, Minh Anh said, adding that he would introduce friends to visit in the following days.
Not only a place to shop, the market has also become a green experience space for urban consumers. Many people said they were excited to directly discuss with cooperative members, learn about the production process and the story behind each product.
According to the organizers, organizing the market on the eve of the New Year helps cooperatives increase product consumption opportunities, while meeting the people's demand for shopping for gifts and safe food. This is also a practical activity that contributes to promoting the collective economic model, directly connecting manufacturers and consumers.
During the event days, the number of visitors was recorded to increase steadily, especially in the afternoon and evening. Many stalls are constantly adding goods due to good purchasing power. The Green Market not only brings a bustling atmosphere at the end of the year but also spreads the message of responsible consumption, towards sustainable development.
