The Ngoc Hoi bridge project and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge will start construction on August 19, 2025.
The project includes 5 component projects, including 3 site clearance (GPMB) projects in 5 communes: Thanh Tri, Nam Phu and Bat Trang (Hanoi city); Van Giang and Phung Cong (Hung Yen province) and 2 construction investment projects: Construction of a parallel road system in Hanoi and Hung Yen; construction of Ngoc Hoi bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in mid-December 2025, at the Ngoc Hoi bridge construction site, machinery, barges, ships, construction materials... are gathered to serve the construction work.
Currently, contractors (Thai Binh Duong Company, Trung Chinh, VNVC E&C, Deo Ca) are implementing the construction of bored piles for the two main towers, and at the same time clearing the site of the 1km section in Van Giang commune that has been handed over, expected to complete 40 bored piles in March 2026.

Hue handles more than 1,200 cases of traffic violations during the peak season at the end of the year
On December 21, Hue City Police informed that the Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police is strengthening measures to ensure traffic order and safety (TTATGT) at the end of the year and before Tet.
During the peak period from December 15 to 21, 2025, the Hue City Traffic Police force handled more than 1,200 violations, including more than 290 cases of alcohol concentration violations, nearly 250 cases of speeding violations and 9 cases of oversized and overloaded violations.
