On June 6, the Organic Ruoi Rice Festival and trade promotion of agricultural products, OCOP products of Chi Minh commune (Hai Phong City) took place in a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience.
At the festival, dozens of booths displayed and introduced many famous local specialties such as crab sauce, cha ruoi, frozen ruoi and many other unique agricultural products and processed foods. The booths attracted many visitors to learn about and shop, contributing to promoting the typical agricultural products of the ruoi rice land.
Ms. Pham Thi Hoa - owner of a sandworm sauce and crab sauce production facility in Chi Minh commune - said that organizing the festival is an opportunity for local production facilities to introduce products to a large number of consumers and expand consumption markets.

According to Ms. Hoa, products are processed from local raw materials, associated with organic rươi rice production areas, so they are increasingly trusted and chosen by customers.
The highlight of the festival is organic rice harvesting contests, organic rice cooking contests and fish-catching play contests, creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere.
Folk games and rural experience activities have brought people and tourists the opportunity to learn about the beauty of traditional agricultural culture of the locality.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 2026 Ruoi Rice Festival is organized to honor farmers who are persistently preserving traditional production, developing organic Ruoi rice models, contributing to enhancing the value of agricultural products and enriching their homeland.
