At the press conference providing information on socio-economic issues in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Pham Quang Hoi - Director of the Center for Agricultural Economic Transition Advisation and Support, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade said that from June 19 to 22 at Binh Phu Park, District 6, the 2025 Seed, High-Tech Agriculture and Ornamental Plants Week will take place with the theme: "City Agriculture associated with ASEAN Integration".
The event aims to introduce and promote the achievements of high-tech crop, livestock, seafood, and agriculture, the application of science and technology in digital transformation in selection, high-quality and high-yield breeding; introduce OCOP products, key products and potential agricultural products of the City and provinces/cities.
Support businesses and cooperatives to develop their brands and expand markets to meet domestic demand and export; support connections, cooperation linkages, and technology application in the production of plant, animal and aquatic product varieties between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces/cities and some countries in the region.
Specifically implement the contents identified in the implementation plan of the 2025 Socio-Economic Development Cooperation Agreement between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces/cities.
Affirming the role of Ho Chi Minh City as an economic, cultural, social center and an effective bridge, an important trade promotion channel for provinces/cities in regions across the country.
Up to now, a total of 121 units have registered to participate. The most special highlight is the appearance of an exhibition refrigeration space, introducing ornamental plant products to promote the development of farming and ornamental plant growing models in Ho Chi Minh City, in line with the development of urban agriculture; with many vibrant activities.
