At the program, delegates attended the opening ceremony and listened to presentations on promoting trade and investment between Ho Chi Minh City and Australia. Next were discussion sessions on promoting cooperation in green energy development; discussions on building human resources for Australia-Vietnam cooperation relations.
Within the framework of the conference, activities to connect businesses and promote investment in the Northern Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology Urban Area also took place.
The program aims to promote trade, attract investment, and develop green energy. Thereby building the Northern Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology City into a new growth pole of the megacity in the new development phase.

According to Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, the noteworthy point of "Meeting Australia 2026" is the large presence of Australian corporations, educational organizations, technology, energy and finance businesses. This shows the increasing attraction of the Southeast region in general and the North Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology City in particular to high-quality investment capital flows.
