According to Mr. Tran Phu Lu - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), the global economy is still affected by fluctuations and inflation, causing purchasing power in many major markets to decline.
In addition, increasingly strict standards and regulations are creating more pressure for Vietnamese enterprises in the production, business and export process. In this context, effectively exploiting the market of nearly 100 million people and enhancing connectivity with modern distribution systems is a necessary direction to ensure stable output for products.
Based on this practical need, over the years, ITPC has proactively coordinated with leading domestic and foreign retail corporations and distribution systems to organize a series of programs for the Trade Connection Week and a space to introduce Vietnamese products.
The program has become an annual, practical and effective trade promotion activity; in recent years, it has supported more than 1,000 city and local businesses to participate in the program, attracting over 10,000 visitors and shoppers, while creating conditions for many Vietnamese products to access modern distribution channels.

On December 4, at the week of connecting trade and introducing Vietnamese products at the modern AEON Vietnam distribution system in 2025, Mr. Takeuchi Takashi - Deputy General Director of AEON Vietnam Office, commented that the need for cooperation between manufacturers and the distribution system is becoming increasingly clear.
We always promote development strategies, contributing to improving the quality of life of local people, aiming to expand the scale of business in Vietnam to three times higher than at present by 2030. In the sustainable development policy, especially in the economic aspect, we play an important role as a bridge between suppliers, manufacturers and customers, contributing to promoting strong connections in the supply chain, accompanying Vietnamese manufacturers and suppliers in improving competitiveness" - Mr. Takeuchi Takashi said.
The Week of connecting trade and introducing products has attracted more than 40 suppliers to participate in exhibition, introducing an average of 400 products per year to customers.
These connecting activities have contributed to promoting the export of Vietnamese agricultural products to the Japanese market. At the same time, it attracts the attention of consumers, thereby supporting the promotion of Vietnamese products and encouraging businesses to innovate and develop sustainably.
