Taking place from August 5 to 8, at Ta Quang Buu High School (Binh Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the training course attracted nearly 150 physical education teachers from schools in Ho Chi Minh City (area 1, old Ho Chi Minh City). At the training class, teachers are equipped with knowledge to be able to organize Vovinam competition activities in schools.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Ms. Huynh Le Nhu Trang - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that this training course opens a journey to spread the spirit of Vo Viet in the educational environment. From there, Ho Chi Minh City will train students not only to be strong in knowledge, but also to be strong in physical - ethical - national spirit.
After merging Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City sees this as an opportunity for the Ho Chi Minh City education sector to make stronger progress. To improve the quality of comprehensive physical education after the merger, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will organize 2 more training classes before entering the new school year in area 2 (old Binh Duong) and area 3 (old Ba Ria - Vung Tau).

In these 2 training courses, teachers will be equipped with knowledge to guide the practice of Vovinam martial arts in schools, organize Vovinam competition activities in schools.
With its specific plan, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City wants to focus on the key content of Vovinam clubs in schools. Accordingly, clubs must be built from within schools, not as grassroots clubs managed by localities under the name of schools.
