Green transition requires comprehensive change
In Vietnam, the commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 issued at COP26 has strongly promoted the green transformation wave in many economic sectors. In which, the field of building materials and electrical equipment is considered one of the important links of this journey.
Sharing about green material solutions, Dr. Phung Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Electrical Faculty, Electrical - Electronics School, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said that green buildings are not just a trend but have become a mandatory requirement in the modern construction industry.
In the world, certificates such as LEED (USA) and Lotus (Vietnam) have set strict standards to assess the environmental friendliness of a project.
According to Dr. Phung Anh Tuan, green materials play a decisive role in building green standard projects. Electric wires are one of the important materials, affecting energy efficiency and safety of projects.
Green materials play a decisive role in building green standard projects," Mr. Phung Anh Tuan emphasized.
Not only stopping at the product factor, many experts believe that green transformation today requires businesses to comprehensively change from production technology, operation management to development thinking.
Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan believes that to realize the Net Zero 2050 goal, businesses need to deeply integrate quality and environmental management standards such as ISO 9000, ISO 14000 into the entire production chain instead of just stopping at communication slogans.
According to the current global trend, sustainable development must become part of the business's operating strategy. Technology innovation, the use of environmentally friendly materials and emission control will determine competitiveness in the future," he said.

Strong businesses move towards green transformation
According to experts, the advantage of green businesses lies not only in the brand factor but also opens up opportunities to participate more deeply in the international supply chain. This is also the reason why more and more Vietnamese businesses are investing to achieve global environmental certifications.
That message continued to be emphasized at the 2026 National Customer Conference organized by CADIVI in Ninh Binh, where businesses announced a development strategy in the new era with a focus on "double transformation": green transformation accompanied by digital transformation.
Three major pillars including green transformation, digital transformation and ESG practice have been identified by the enterprise as a new development strategy to enhance global competitiveness. In which, the enterprise focuses on developing safe and environmentally friendly product lines such as LF-free wires and slow-burning, low-smoke, non-halogene LSHF cables.
This trend reflects a clear shift in the market, as green standards are increasingly becoming a mandatory condition in modern construction.

According to Mr. Le Ba Tho - Chairman of CADIVI's Board of Directors, the company's long-term strategy is built on 5 pillars including green transformation, digital transformation, ESG implementation, global competition and brand repositioning. "CADIVI's orientation today is not only to'do more', but to strongly focus on'do better'," he emphasized.
In the context of the global market increasingly prioritizing green standards and sustainable development, the trend of green transformation is assessed to be not only a "game" for large enterprises but gradually becoming a vital condition for all businesses wishing to participate deeply in the global value chain.
