AstraZeneca Vietnam receives certificate of merit for its contributions to sustainable development

On December 5, AstraZeneca Vietnam received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations for outstanding contributions to sustainable development.

This recognition reflects the company's long-term commitment to investing in community and environmental health initiatives, in which the Youth Health Program (YHP) is a typical example of efforts to improve the health of future generations, contributing to building a foundation for sustainable development for Vietnam.

At the 5th International Conference on cooperation between Vietnam and foreign non-governmental organizations, AstraZeneca Vietnam is one of 4 foreign enterprises honored for initiatives that have a real impact on public health and environmental protection. This achievement affirms the pioneering role of enterprises in the healthcare ecosystem, while demonstrating the motto of putting science and people at the center, integrating sustainable development goals into long-term strategies.

Mr. Atul Tandon - General Director of AstraZeneca Vietnam - shared: "We are especially proud of the Youth Health Program - a key initiative to help prevent non-communicable diseases early, invest in future generations and create a foundation for a healthy, sustainable Vietnam".
