On June 14, at the An Giang Provincial Youth, Children and Youth Entrepreneurship Center, the An Giang Provincial Military Command coordinated with the An Giang Provincial Youth Union to organize the Launching Ceremony of the "Military Summer Camp" Program 2026, term 1 with the theme "Proud to be a soldier".
The "Military Summer Camp" program in 2026 is organized for 9 days, from June 13 to 21, for teenagers aged 11 to 17. During the participation period, "little soldiers" will be able to participate in activities, study and train in the military environment at Battalion 207, Regiment 893; participate in basic military training contents such as team regulations, domestic folding, military techniques, overcoming obstacles, night marches, along with many life skills education activities, teamwork skills, thematic topics on family, friendship, spirit of responsibility and patriotism.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized that the program is organized to create a practical experience environment, helping children cultivate self-reliance, organizational discipline, solidarity, responsibility and adaptability in life. At the same time, it contributes to educating revolutionary traditions, fostering patriotism, national pride, helping children better understand the image and noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers.

The "Military Summer Camp" program not only brings to teenagers a practical training environment in the military but also contributes to educating patriotism, national pride, and sense of responsibility to oneself, family and society. Through learning, training, experience and collective activities, they are equipped with necessary life skills, forming self-reliance, discipline, will to overcome difficulties, adaptability and teamwork ability. This is also an opportunity for them to better understand the image and noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, thereby nurturing positive life values, building ambitions, dreams and correct orientations for the future.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the trainees marched to Battalion 207 to officially enter the journey of experiencing, studying and training in the military environment.
Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes that each student will have more useful experiences, form positive habits, know how to love, share, and live more responsibly with themselves, their families and society; thereby gradually perfecting their personality, building dreams and ambitions, and becoming useful citizens for their homeland and country.
