In addition, the city aims to reach over 0.7 digital technology enterprises over 1,000 people. 85% of the population aged 15 and older have a payment account at a bank or other allowed organization; More than 50% of adults have digital signatures or personal electronic signatures; 80% of the adult population has a VNEID electronic identification account. This is an important step to promote comprehensive transformation, develop the modern and sustainable economy of Hai Phong.
The City People's Committee focuses on key tasks of organizing surveys, measurement and evaluation of digital transformations in industries and fields. The city will guide organizations, businesses and business households to assess themselves according to the standard set of standard criteria through conferences and seminars; Piloting in some localities to learn from experience before replicating the whole city. The construction of Internet of Things infrastructure and the synchronous deployment of digital utilities are also being promoted in key areas and industries. Hai Phong identified 5 priority industry groups to promote the digital economy, including: e-commerce, smart tourism, smart agriculture, smart manufacturing and information and communication technology (ICT).
