On April 2, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that it had developed a plan on implementing policies and regimes according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP; Decree 67/2025/ND-CP for civil servants, public employees and workers in the area in the first phase of 2025.
In the first phase of 2025, the whole province has 405 cases belonging to 11 agencies and 7 localities at the district level that have policies and regimes to be resolved, including: 240 cases of early retirement (111 civil servants, 92 public employees, 37 workers); and 165 cases of resignation (23 civil servants, 87 public employees, 55 workers).
The total estimated budget for implementing the regime policy is more than 356.5 billion VND. Of which, the budget for implementing the early retirement policy (early retirement) is more than 242.2 billion VND; the budget for implementing the resignation policy is more than 114.3 billion VND.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested localities to review and ensure proper implementation of principles and procedures of policies and regimes for cases that have been proposed and approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
If there are cases that are not eligible when reviewing, the head of the agency or locality is responsible for reporting to the Provincial People's Committee so that policies and regimes cannot be resolved.
