Previously, the unit coordinated with the Traffic Police Department and Phuoc Trung Ward Police (Ba Ria City) to catch Minh red-handed while illegally buying and selling drugs; confiscated 30 pink tablets, which the subject claimed were ecstasy.
Continuing to search the car driven by the subject, the authorities seized 10 sealed white plastic bags containing colorless, transparent crystallization (the subject declared to be crystal meth), 20 pink tablets; 1 revolver and 5 bullets.
When the authorities brought Minh to the headquarters for questioning, the subject confessed to having bought the above drugs from a man (who was verifying his identity and background) about a week ago in Long Thanh (Dong Nai) for use and reselling for profit. Guns and bullets were purchased for self-defense.
