Previously, people posted on social networks images of a wild monkey burrowing into a resident's house on Chi Lang street to forage, at this time there were 2 women and a baby in the house. When they saw the monkey approaching, fearing that the baby would be affected, a woman slapped and pushed the monkey away. The monkey rushed to attack this woman. The posted image caused many people to stir and worry.
Grasping information, Phuoc Thang Ward People's Committee has conducted verification, coordinated with functional forces to search and arrest this monkey individual.
Currently, the monkey is being temporarily detained at the headquarters of the Ward People's Committee. According to the plan, functional units will coordinate to release the captured monkey back to the natural environment on Dinh mountain, in the area of Long Huong and Tan Hai wards.
