On July 29, Bac Gia Nghia Ward Police said that the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police has initiated a case and prosecuted the defendant Le Tien Dung (born 2006, residing in Hue City) to investigate the crime of "Robbery" under Article 171 of the Penal Code.
According to initial investigation, on July 17, Dung came to the I.S.T phone store in residential group 1, Bac Gia Nghia ward, requesting to sell an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
After receiving money from the store owner, Dung used the excuse of borrowing back his phone to operate the transfer and then suddenly took the property and ran away.
Upon receiving the report, Bac Gia Nghia Ward Police quickly deployed professional measures, reviewed the area, and pursued the subject.
Only after a short time, functional forces identified Le Tien Dung as the perpetrator and coordinated to arrest him; at the same time, seized exhibits and many documents for investigation.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused against Dung. The case is being further investigated and handled according to the provisions of law.
