At around 10:00 p.m. on April 24, in the Rach Gia Port area (Vinh Thanh Ward, Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province), the working group of the Special Task Force on Drug Crime Prevention and Control No. 4 - Vietnam Coast Guard in coordination with Vinh Thanh Ward Police discovered and caught red-handed a subject for illegal possession of drugs.
The subject is Le Tuan Anh (born in 1999), residing in Vinh Lac ward, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang province. Through inspection, the authorities seized a transparent plastic bag containing inconsistent white solid particles, suspected to be crystal meth hidden on the subject's person.
Initially, Tuan Anh confessed that it was drugs bought by doctors, but before he could use them, he was discovered and arrested by the authorities.
The case is currently being further investigated and clarified for handling according to the provisions of law.
