On the morning of March 4, at Luy Lau Cultural Center, Thuan Thanh ward, the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Service Council organized the 2026 Military Service Handover and Reception Ceremony at Military Service Point No. 10 (Command of Defense Area 4 - Hap Linh).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; representatives of Military Region 1, Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command,... and a large number of people.
In 2026, Bac Ninh province is assigned the target of selecting 5,202 citizens to enlist, of which 4,600 citizens perform military service and 602 citizens perform the duty of People's Police.
Specifically at troop departure point No. 10, the Command of Defense Zone 4 - Hap Linh organized the handover of 667 young people to receiving units; of which 572 young people performed military service, 95 young people performed the duty of People's Police.
The new recruits all ensured standards of political qualities, cultural level and health. Notably, 529 comrades volunteered to enlist; 209 outstanding union members were trained in Party awareness; 110 comrades were honored to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam before leaving.
The units receiving troops include: Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection; Division 325 (Army Corps 12); units under the Air Defense - Air Force Service such as: Division 365, Division 371, Division 361, Brigade 26; Brigade 113 (Special Forces); Engineer Brigade 229 (Engineer Corps); Chemical Defense Brigade 86 (Chemistry Corps); Division 3 (Military Region 1); Army Commemoration Delegation, Brigade 144 (General Staff); Regiment 833 (Provincial Military Command)...
These are all units with a long tradition, many achievements in training, combat readiness and building a regular, elite, and modern armed force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Pham Van Tao - Commander of the Military Command of Bac Ninh province requested the new recruits to clearly identify the honor, pride and sacred responsibility when standing in the ranks of the armed forces; continue to promote the tradition of a civilized and revolutionary homeland; actively study, train, strictly comply with military discipline, regulations, and statutes of the police; unite, help each other, and excellently complete assigned tasks.
At the same time, requesting Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, mass organizations and people in localities to continue to well implement the policy of military rear, pay attention to and encourage soldier families, and create conditions for new recruits to feel secure in their work.
On this occasion, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai and delegates presented flowers, encouraged, and wished the new recruits good health, good training, maturity, and contributions to building and firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new situation.
