The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued Decision No. 862 on announcing administrative procedures specified in Decree No. 259/2026/ND-CP dated June 30, 2026 of the Government regulating the recruitment, use and management of public employees.
Announcing attached to this decision are 2 administrative procedures specified in Decree No. 259/2026/ND-CP including: Procedures for civil servant recruitment exams and procedures for civil servant recruitment consideration.
The decision also clearly states the abolition of administrative procedures that have been announced in Decision No. 168/QD-BNV dated March 12, 2024 of the Minister of Home Affairs on announcing administrative procedures specified in Decree No. 85/2023/ND-CP dated December 7, 2023 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 115/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020 of the Government on recruitment, use and management of public employees.

For example, with the order for procedures for civil servant recruitment exams, the Ministry clearly states 6 implementation steps including:
Step 1: The applicant submits the Application Form according to the Recruitment Notice of the recruiting authority;
Step 2: Check the Application Form;
Step 3: Organize civil servant recruitment exams;
Step 4: Approving and announcing the results of civil servant recruitment;
Step 5: Complete the recruitment dossier;
Step 6: Sign a work contract and receive the job.
