On August 30, in Phu Quoc special zone (An Giang) and Nam Can commune (Ca Mau), officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 Command actively responded to participate in the national walking activity "Joining Vietnam to Advance" 2026 organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
The walking activity with the message "10 billion green steps - For a sustainable Vietnam" is an opportunity for officers and soldiers to deeply understand the role of regular physical training, building a healthy lifestyle; and at the same time contribute to creating a positive, regular, and healthy military cultural environment. This is also an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and attachment between officers and soldiers, build a collective spirit and determination in performing tasks.
With a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and overcoming difficulties, hundreds of officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 Command actively completed the planned walking distance. Each step not only improves physical fitness but also demonstrates the determination to build the image of a soldier with good health, steadfast bravery, regular demeanor and high sense of responsibility, contributing to the entire people to firmly move forward on the journey of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
Through activities, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 Command continue to promote the movement "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho", forming a habit of regular mobilization, contributing to building a healthy, regular, united unit and excellently completing all assigned tasks.
