These days, at the military port of Coast Guard Region 2 Command, the atmosphere of preparation for the competition is taking place urgently. Officers and soldiers of Naval Flotilla 212, Naval Flotilla 21 focus on preserving, maintaining, and repairing ships; and at the same time reviewing knowledge and practicing training contents.
Immediately after having the plan, the Party Committee and Command of Naval Flotilla 212 thoroughly grasped the purpose, requirements, and criteria of the contest to the entire unit. The ships participated in building thematic resolutions, assigning specific tasks to each collective and individual, and regularly checking progress.
With the motto "prepare carefully for each content, firmly for each criterion", officers and soldiers take advantage of the time between tasks to renovate the deck, compartments, and cabins; inspect and consolidate the technical equipment system, ensuring synchronization and regularity.
Ship crews also focused on reviewing specialized knowledge, regulations, safety regulations and combat deployment tables. The ability to coordinate between departments, handle situations and formality was emphasized. Limited content was supplemented with training, ensuring that troops firmly grasped theory and proficiently practiced.
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Le Son - Commander of Naval Flotilla 212 - said that the competition is an opportunity to comprehensively assess the management and operation of ships, training quality and coordination capacity of the unit.
This is not only a key task but also an opportunity to train bravery and improve the qualifications of officers and soldiers. The Flotilla is determined to excellently complete the contents and achieve high results at the competition" - Lieutenant Colonel Dang Le Son said.
The Good Ship Contest and Ship Training Sports Festival at all levels in 2026 are expected in early August 2026. Through the contest, the unit continues to improve management capacity, master weapons, technical equipment and combat readiness, meeting the requirements of protecting sovereignty, security, and safety at sea.
