On May 14, in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province, the Command (BTL) of Coast Guard Region 4 organized the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Innovation, science and technology development, digital transformation, green transformation" (Emulation Movement).
The emulation movement is deployed and organized from 2026 to 2030, divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 from 2026 to 2027; Phase 2 from 2028 to 2030.
Over the past time, Coast Guard Region 4 Command has actively and proactively implemented many innovative and creative activities such as: Applying digital transformation in propaganda against IUU fishing using QR codes, virtual assistants, building specialized management software... initially achieving many encouraging results; creating an important basis and premise for the Region Command to continue to promote "Innovation, science and technology development, digital transformation, green transformation" in the coming time.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Senior Colonel Nguyen Thai Duong - Deputy Political Commissar, Standing Vice Chairman of the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Regional Command emphasized: The emulation movement aims to concretize the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws; directives and resolutions of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee and the Regional Party Committee; create high unity in awareness and action, build a solid political determination for Party committees, commanders at all levels and each individual; strongly arouse the spirit of proactiveness, creativity, and sense of responsibility in pioneering the application of science and technology, promoting digital transformation and green transformation.
Creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, making an important contribution to the successful implementation of the country's development goals in the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; building the Army, forces, revolutionary units, regular, elite, and modern in the spirit of the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the Army.
At the Launching Ceremony, the Command of the Region awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with good achievements in the Emulation Period to celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term; celebrating the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 6th Political Essay Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, in 2026.
