This activity continues the Rabies Vaccination for the Community program, part of the global initiative STOP RABIES launched by Boehringer Ingelheim.
Launched in 2021, the program has coordinated with the People's Committee of Duc Hue commune and Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry to vaccinate more than 33,000 dogs and cats, contributing to reducing the risk of rabies spread and protecting the health of thousands of households.
Through training sessions and intuitive documents such as comics, leaflets, notebooks, teachers and health workers can convey vivid and easy-to-understand knowledge of rabies prevention. The program helps students raise awareness about protecting themselves, their families and pets, while spreading the message of rabies prevention and control widely in the community.
