On September 8, the People's Committee of Ia Hiao commune said that when the flood began to recede, the government mobilized people to harvest rice to minimize damage. The prolonged rain caused many ripe rice areas in the area to be flooded and fall.
The militia and local people cleared canals and drainage ditches to lower the water level of rice fields. With the area of ripe rice 8590%, the commune recommends that people harvest early to avoid sprouting and losing productivity.
In Al Ba commune, the commune police force discovered a landslide at Tung Ke village pass causing traffic congestion, and recorded flash floods in Ia Boong stream (Vong Chep village) damaging some properties.

Immediately afterwards, the People's Committee of the commune mobilized local forces including militia, police, and youth union members to clear fallen trees, clear the road, and ensure traffic returned.
Authorities of communes that are often affected by heavy rain such as Ia Hiao, Ayun Pa, Ia Pa continue to advise people to closely monitor weather forecasts, proactively avoid and limit travel through areas at risk of landslides to ensure the safety of life and property.
