Temporarily suspending the operation of the Vung Tau - Con Dao high-speed train line from September 3
On August 28, Phu Quoc Express Joint Stock Company (Phu Quoc Express) said that it had just sent a document to partners and customers regarding the temporary suspension of the high-speed train route to transport passengers from Vung Tau to Con Dao and vice versa.
Accordingly, the Vung Tau - Con Dao route operated by the Thang Long high-speed ship with more than 1,000 seats will stop operating from September 3, until further notice. The reason for the temporary suspension of this service route is to put the Thang Long ship on a regular annual maintenance schedule. The ship is expected to resume operation in December 2025.

Heavy flooding on Vo Chi Cong Street, Hanoi announces traffic diversion
According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, due to the impact of the circulation after storm No. 5, the city experienced heavy and prolonged rain, many locations with very large rainfall led to overloading the drainage system of the area, narrowing the road surface, vehicles participated in slow traffic, especially on Vo Chi Cong route (from Vo Chi Cong - Nguyen Hoang Ton intersection to Nhat Tan bridge approach road).

Therefore, the Hanoi Department of Construction guides remote traffic flow on Vo Chi Cong Street (from Vo Chi Cong - Nguyen Hoang Ton intersection to Nhat Tan Bridge approach road) so that people and vehicles participating in traffic can proactively adjust the route accordingly. Accordingly, vehicles from Vo Chi Cong go to Nhat Tan Bridge in the following directions: Vo Chi Cong → Xuan La, Nguyen Hoang Ton → Lac Long Quan → An Duong Vuong → Branch leading to Nhat Tan Bridge.

On August 28, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province issued an urgent document to the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Department of Fisheries and Sea Affairs, and the People's Committees of coastal communes with fishing vessels and Phu Quy special zone to resolve the need for fishermen to inspect fishing vessels.
Currently, many fishing vessels in the province have expired their inspection period but lack specialized agencies to promptly resolve the issue. This situation increases the number of fishing vessels that do not ensure operating conditions, affecting the province's task of combating IUU fishing.
