Gia Lai - Due to heavy rain, many communes in Gia Lai province were partially flooded, affecting crops and people's lives.

On September 6, according to records in Ayun Pa, Ia Pa, Ia Hiao communes (Gia Lai province), many areas were partially flooded due to heavy rain.

The prolonged rain over the past few days, especially on the evening of September 5, has caused many places to be deeply flooded, with rising water damaging people's crops and rice fields.

Some roads and culverts through the communes were flooded and damaged. In Ayun Pa ward, the authorities have urgently mobilized flood handling forces and evacuated people if necessary to ensure the safety of life and property.

Ayun Pa Ward also recommends that people in flooded areas absolutely follow the instructions of the government and functional forces, do not cross floodwaters, do not cross dangerous spillways.

In Ia Hiao commune, militia forces support people in transporting rice, food and necessities to dry, safe places.

In the long term, the commune government will study and propose approving new settlement projects for households that are often affected by floods, in order to gradually stabilize the population and minimize the risk of natural disasters.
