In August 2025, Gia Lai province attracted 12 new investment projects with a total registered capital of more than VND 16,800 billion, including 8 projects in economic zones and industrial parks.
Since the beginning of the year, Gia Lai has attracted 135 projects with a total registered capital of more than 74,300 billion VND. Of which, 60 projects are in the industrial sector, 19 construction - infrastructure projects, 16 commercial service - tourism projects, 39 agricultural - forestry - fishery projects and 1 real estate and urban economic project.
In addition, the province has adjusted 137 projects with an additional investment capital of more than VND 4,800 billion and reclaimed 5 projects that are no longer suitable.
In the past week, the province issued Business Registration Certificates to 69 newly established units with a total capital of VND 886 billion; 4 enterprises temporarily suspended operations, 6 dissolved enterprises and 2 enterprises resumed operations.
From the beginning of the year to August 28, the whole province had 2,153 newly established enterprises with a total capital of nearly VND15,000 billion.
The Gia Lai Provincial Department of Finance has reported to the Provincial People's Committee the results of the investment policy appraisal for a number of important projects such as: Construction and business of technical infrastructure of Canh Hien Industrial Cluster; pig farms of Hai Dien 2, Dien Khang Farm, Trong Kien Farm Mot; Luong Thanh Street Residential Area; Construction and business of technical infrastructure of Nam Binh Nghi Industrial Cluster; High-tech agriculture TRE - Dak Doa...
Previously, on August 29, Gia Lai province issued investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates to 27 projects with a total capital of VND 26,300 billion; signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation for 42 other projects, with a total estimated capital of VND 93,400 billion.
The projects are spread across many key areas such as agriculture, industry, high technology, trade, services - tourism, urban economy, port services and logistics.
