On March 14, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that Krong Buk Traffic Police Station had just discovered cases of driving vehicles participating in traffic when they had drugs in their bodies, posing a high risk of causing traffic accidents.
Previously, at about 12:30 pm on March 13, 2026, on the inter-communal road in Buon Dung A, Ea Khan commune, Dak Lak province, a patrol team of Krong Buk Traffic Police Station discovered a motorbike driven by Mr. P.N. L (residing in Ea Khan commune) showing suspicious signs, so they signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection.
Through initial inspection, it was found that L showed signs of suspected drug use, so the task force took this person to a medical facility for testing. The results showed that L tested positive for drugs Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.
The working group then coordinated with Ea Khan Commune Police to make a record of the incident, and at the same time made a record of administrative violation against L for the act of "driving a vehicle on the road with drugs in his body". On the side of functional agencies, they continue to consolidate the file for handling according to regulations.
On the same day, at about 6:05 PM on March 13, the patrol team of Krong Buk Traffic Police Station, while patrolling on Phu Dong road, Quang Phu commune, discovered a motorbike driven by Mr. Y.S. N (residing in Ea Tul commune) showing signs of suspected drug use.
The task force conducted a rapid drug test and the result was positive. The Traffic Police force made a record of administrative violation against Y.S. N for the act of driving a vehicle when he had drugs in his body.
At the same time, functional forces also made a record of the incident and handed over this person to Quang Phu Commune Police for further handling according to the provisions of law.
