On July 12, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 6 (Khanh Hoa Provincial Fire and Rescue Police Department) said that they had coordinated to guide fire prevention and fighting (PCCC), rescue, and drowning prevention skills for a large number of students.
Police officers and soldiers have guided students to recognize common fire and explosion risks in families and schools; how to use electricity and gas safely; not to play with fire, not to arbitrarily use fire-generating and heat-generating devices.
The children were also instructed on how to handle fires when detected, shout for alarm, call the Fire and Rescue Police force via 114 and practice escape skills such as moving along escape routes, bowing down, using a towel or wet cloth to cover their noses and mouths to limit inhaling toxic smoke.
In addition, the Fire and Rescue Police force also introduced life-saving vehicles such as life jackets and life buoys.
The police force also guides on how to wear life jackets correctly, drowning prevention skills, how to handle drowning people and safety principles in the process of rescuing people to limit unfortunate accidents.
The activity is organized in an intuitive form, combining propaganda, Q&A and practice, creating a lively atmosphere, helping students easily absorb knowledge, remember and practice skills to handle real-life situations.
