On July 6, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that a soldier of the Provincial Party Committee's Target Protection Team, Mobile Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police had just coordinated to verify and return property to the person who dropped it.
Previously, at about 1 pm on July 5, while moving in the area, soldier Nguyen Truong Son, of the Provincial Party Committee's Target Protection Team, Mobile Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, discovered a handbag dropped by the roadside.
Checking inside the bag, soldier Son discovered many personal papers and 75 million VND in cash. Immediately after that, he handed over the bag to Dong Quang Ward Police to coordinate verification and find the owner.
After a short period of review and verification, Dong Quang Ward Police identified the owner of the bag as Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, born in 1991, residing in Ve Yen residential group, Dong Quang ward.
According to Ms. Thuy, the above amount of money is very important to the family. When she discovered that her property was lost, she and her relatives were extremely worried, and searched many places but without results.
After completing the verification, under the witness of Dong Quang Ward Police, officer Nguyen Truong Son directly returned 75 million VND and all documents to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy.
Receiving the property back, Ms. Thuy and her family expressed their gratitude for the beautiful gesture of soldier Nguyen Truong Son; and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers of Dong Quang Ward Police in quickly verifying and supporting people.
