According to initial information, the incident happened at about 4:30 pm, right at the intersection of Dien Bien Phu street and Cao Thang street. A green tree over 10 meters high suddenly fell across the road while vehicles were circulating crowdedly. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.
The incident occurred during rush hour, causing localized traffic congestion at this intersection. Functional forces quickly arrived to saw and cut the tree trunk, clean up the scene and divert traffic.
In the afternoon of the same day, many places in Ho Chi Minh City also recorded heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, making people's travel difficult.
