On June 1st, the An Giang Provincial Exercise Task Force, chaired by Colonel Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, Head of the Provincial Exercise Task Force, organized an inspection of the system of documents and the simulated combat base area serving the Tan Hiep commune combat exercise in the defense area in 2026.
At the inspection, the working delegation focused on assessing the quality of the exercise document system; the preparation of the simulated combat base area; the arrangement of forces, vehicles, and facilities to serve the exercise; and at the same time reviewed and unified the contents and methods of organizing the exercise according to the approved intentions and plans.

Through inspection, the Task Force recorded that the Party Committee, local authorities and participating forces have proactively done a good job of preparing and building a basic and complete document system, ensuring compliance with principles and close to the actual situation of the locality. The simulated combat base area is well prepared, meeting the requirements of the exercise mission.
Concluding, Colonel Nguyen Van Hien requested agencies and units to continue to review, supplement, and complete the system of documents; and at the same time accelerate the progress of completing the remaining items, ensuring that the Tan Hiep commune combat exercise in the defense area in 2026 takes place safely, according to plan, and achieves the set goals and requirements.
The inspection aims to comprehensively assess the preparation work, promptly direct and overcome shortcomings, contributing to improving the quality of drills, the leadership, direction, and administration capacity of local Party committees and authorities, and the combat readiness level of the armed forces in the defense area.
