To practically celebrate the 14th National Party Congress; celebrating the 85th anniversary of Uncle Ho's return to the country to lead the Vietnamese revolution (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026), the Youth Committee of An Giang Provincial Police advised the Director of the Provincial Police to organize the "Winter Volunteer" Program combined with political activities, returning to the source in Cao Bang province.
Implementing the direction of the Political Work Department, Ministry of Public Security on organizing the "Winter Volunteer Program 2025 - Spring Volunteer 2026" associated with the movement "All people protect national security" from the grassroots level, in Ha Lang border commune, Cao Bang province, An Giang Provincial Police have coordinated with Cao Bang Provincial Police and philanthropists to organize many practical and meaningful social security activities.
The Organizing Committee presented 123 gifts to poor households and families in difficult circumstances; awarded 56 scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties to study well, each worth 1 million VND. At the same time, the delegation presented 400 sets of warm clothes to students of Thi Hoa Primary School and Tri Duc Secondary School (Ha Lang commune). The total cost of the program is 245 million VND. Although the material value is not large, the gifts have profound spiritual meaning, contributing to sharing difficulties, warming the hearts of people and students in border areas, helping everyone confidently rise up in life, especially in the harsh winter weather in the highlands of the Fatherland.
The program received the companionship and active support of philanthropists, teams, and groups of An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City provinces. Thereby, demonstrating the spirit of social responsibility, joining hands with the Police force to care for the lives of people in difficult areas.
Sharing at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Committee of An Giang Provincial Police - said: The "Winter Volunteer" program is not only an annual social security activity of the youth of An Giang Provincial Police but also shows the feelings and responsibility of union members and youth of the People's Police towards people in remote and border areas. Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes that the gifts and scholarships awarded will contribute to bringing a warmer spring, adding more faith and motivation for people and students to strive to rise up and build a better and better life.
The program is a vivid proof of the pioneering spirit, volunteering, and serving the People of the youth of An Giang Provincial Police; contributing to concretizing the "Three Most" emulation movement: Most disciplined - Most loyal - Closest to the people, and at the same time widely spreading human values, the spirit of mutual affection, strengthening the close relationship between the Police force and the people of border areas in the days of Tet and Spring.
On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Uncle Ho's return to the country to lead the Vietnamese revolution, An Giang Provincial Police also organized a ceremony to offer incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Pac Bo Special National Historical Relic Site.
The delegation also visited and offered incense to commemorate Heroic Martyr Kim Dong - the first captain of the Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Youth Team.
