At the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Han, Director of the Kien Giang Provincial Police Department awarded many collectives with particularly outstanding achievements in the fight against crime. In particular, the Police Department investigating crime on corruption, economy and smuggling was awarded VND 20 million for the achievement of investigating and arresting subjects taking advantage of social networks to illegally trade smuggled motorbikes, seize 58 motorbikes and many related exhibits. Criminal technical departments, logistics departments and Tho Son commune police (Hon Dat district) each unit were rewarded 15 million VND.
Notably, in the project of destroying large -scale online gambling lines through the "Bong88.com" website with the amount of trading more than VND 400 billion, the police force arrested 6 subjects, collected 16 mobile phones, more than 320 million and many important evidence.
With this achievement, the Criminal Police Department was rewarded 20 million VND; Coordinating units include the Department of Cyber Security and High -tech Crime Prevention, Professional Technical Department, Mobile Police Department, Criminal Technical Department, Staff Department and Professional Documentation Department, each unit is awarded VND 15 million. In addition, the Police Department investigating drug crimes was also rewarded 5 million for the achievement of arresting the illegal possession of narcotics, seizing more than 815 grams of synthetic drugs, 1 SH motorbike and 1 mobile phone.
