Resolutions passed include: On the assignment of the total number of civil servants in state administrative agencies of Kien Giang province in 2025; On the approval of the total number of employees receiving salaries from the state budget in public service units of Kien Giang province in 2025; Regulations on criteria for deciding to conduct bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Kien Giang province; Regulations on policies and specific spending levels for children in Kien Giang province; Regulations on support for investment in the construction of technical infrastructure of industrial clusters in Kien Giang province...
Chairman of the People's Council of Kien Giang province Lam Minh Thanh said: The Resolutions passed at the meeting have promptly concretized the Central's direction, meeting the requirements of tasks and practical situations. The People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to promptly direct and guide the implementation so that the Resolutions can soon come into life. At the same time, strengthen propaganda and information work so that all levels, sectors and people can join hands and unite to implement the Resolutions to achieve the highest results.
Continue to direct the careful preparation and quality of the contents to be presented at the next sessions of the Provincial People's Council in 2025; review and properly resolve the legitimate recommendations of voters and people.
The Chairman of the People's Council of Kien Giang province also said: In the past year, in addition to 2 regular meetings and 1 specialized meeting on personnel work, the Provincial People's Council had 8 other specialized meetings to consider and resolve more than 100 important contents to facilitate the socio-economic development of the province. This is a year with many contents and workloads resolved by the Provincial People's Council.
The Chairman of the People's Council of Kien Giang province requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct all levels and sectors - especially the leaders - to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, dynamism, creativity, and determination in action; closely follow the main groups of tasks and solutions according to the Resolution of the Government and the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on socio-economic development tasks in 2025 to organize implementation, striving for economic growth of 10% or more.
In particular, focusing on promoting investment attraction; speeding up the implementation of works and projects, especially key works with spillover effects and regional connectivity; having specific solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises in all fields; speeding up the disbursement of public investment capital and capital for implementing national target programs; strengthening the management of budget revenue and expenditure to ensure efficiency and in accordance with regulations.
Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of land, site clearance, minerals and environment; continue to promote administrative reform, tighten discipline and administrative order in public service performance; promote digital transformation, apply information technology, build digital government and digital society to meet the socio-economic development requirements of the province.
Regularly review the progress of resolving conclusions and recommendations to promptly urge and handle problems arising during the implementation of tasks. Continue to accelerate the progress of concretizing new regulations according to laws that have been issued and come into effect in 2024 and early 2025 to ensure the synchronous implementation of laws.
