On May 18, Lam Dong Provincial Police organized a launching ceremony to implement the "I work as a commune police officer" model and the "Digital People's Education" movement phase 2; and at the same time launched the "Peaceful Fatherland" video clip creative contest in the entire provincial police force.

According to the plan, from May 18 to August 18, 2026, the Provincial Police will strengthen 224 officers and soldiers to support 124 communes, wards, and special zones throughout the province to participate in the "I work as a commune police officer" model.
The reinforced force will participate in implementing tasks to ensure security and order at the grassroots level such as advising on local work, fighting and preventing crime, managing administrative affairs on social order; supporting people to implement online public services, install electronic identification and access digital platforms.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nay Gia Phu - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police - requested officers and soldiers to strengthen their presence in the area, be close to the people, proactively grasp the situation, and improve their sense of responsibility in the process of performing their duties.
On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Police also launched the "Peaceful Fatherland" video clip creative contest in the entire force.
Entries must last no more than 5 minutes, expressed in various forms such as reports, chronicles, short films, skits or storytelling videos.
Through the above activities, Lam Dong Provincial Police aims to improve the effectiveness of work at the grassroots level and spread the image of police officers in cyberspace.
