Lao Cai - Picking up a wallet containing 2.6 million VND and many personal papers, a woman in Luc Yen commune handed it over to the police for verification and returned it to the owner.

On July 7, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Luc Yen Commune Police had just praised Ms. Nguyen Thi Luu (born in 1983, residing in Tham Pong village, Luc Yen commune) for her beautiful action of returning property to the person who dropped it.

Previously, in Lang Gia village, Ms. Luu picked up a wallet containing 2.6 million VND in cash and many personal papers in the name of Mr. Tran Trung Kien (born 1988, residing in Bac Son village, Lam Thuong commune, Lao Cai province).

Immediately after receiving the information, Luc Yen Commune Police quickly verified, contacted Mr. Kien and returned the full amount of money and all documents.

According to Luc Yen Commune Police, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luu's actions demonstrate her honesty, responsibility and awareness for the community, contributing to spreading good values and building the movement "All people protect national security".

At the same time, the unit encourages people when they pick up property to proactively hand it over to functional agencies to return it to the loser soon.
