Previously, Ho Chi Minh City Police had implemented a pilot plan for the above model in 5 key areas including Con Dao special zone, Thanh An commune, Cau Ong Lanh wards, Vung Tau, Binh Duong - areas with high population density, or bustling business and tourism activities. Immediately after the plan was issued, the Department of Police for Administrative Management of Social Order established 5 working groups, coordinating with professional units and commune-level police in the pilot areas.
According to the plan, the pilot phase in Vung Tau will last about 3 months, with the goal of restoring urban order and discipline in a transparent direction. In the process of implementation, the Vung Tau ward police force will clearly assign responsibilities, apply technology in management and handling violations.
