On June 19, Phu Tho Provincial Police said that Minh Hoa Commune Police promptly supported a citizen to receive back 40 million VND mistakenly transferred to another person's account, thereby contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
Previously, Minh Hoa Commune Police received a report from Ms. B.T. P. (born in 1976, residing in Cho Ria village, Quynh Luu commune, Ninh Binh province) about the mistaken transfer of 40 million VND to an incorrect recipient's account during a bank transaction.
Immediately after receiving the information, Minh Hoa Commune Police urgently verified the case, coordinated with relevant units to review information and clarify the account holder who received the money. By professional measures combined with propaganda and mobilization, the police force contacted and explained to the money recipient to understand the matter.

Through working, Mr. Dinh Van Phuc (born 1986, residing in Ha Hoa area, Minh Hoa commune, Phu Tho province) voluntarily returned the entire amount of 40 million VND to Ms. B.T. P.
Receiving the money back after many days of worry, Ms. B.T. P. expressed her emotion and sent thanks to the officers of Minh Hoa Commune Police for their dedicated support, quickly verifying, and helping her get back the mistakenly transferred money.
The police recommend that people carefully check information before transferring money. If mistakenly transferring money is detected, they should quickly contact the bank and the police agency for support in resolving it.
