On May 27, news from Vinh Hai Commune Police said that the unit had discovered and seized a set of "invisible net" bird trap nets in a deserted field area in the commune.
Previously, on May 25, during patrols to ensure security and order, the police force discovered a piece of bird trap net consisting of 5 layers, about 50m long, about 5m wide, set up in a deserted field area.
Through scene inspection, functional forces did not detect any guards. However, near the trap area, there was a cage containing 8 live cu birds.
Recognizing that the act of using bird trap nets affects the natural environment and exterminates wild birds, Vinh Hai Commune Police released all the birds back to the natural environment, and at the same time seized exhibits for verification and handling according to regulations.
According to functional forces, the "invisible net" is a method of trapping birds to exterminate them, causing danger to many wild bird species and affecting the natural ecosystem.
Vinh Hai Commune Police recommends that people not hunt or trap wild birds illegally; do not use nets to exterminate wild animals, contributing to protecting the natural environment.
