On the afternoon of January 28, Dan Tri Newspaper, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and Toyota Motor Company jointly organized the summary and award ceremony of the "Vietnam Traffic Safety Initiative 2025" contest.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha assessed that ensuring traffic order and safety is always one of the key tasks of the Government, expressed through many specific programs, resolutions, and action plans. In which, mobilizing social intelligence and initiatives of people, organizations and businesses plays a particularly important role.
Also according to the Deputy Minister, in 2025, the contest received the attention and response of a large number of readers nationwide with nearly 600 entries of collectives and individuals registered and nearly 5 million visits on the contest website.
Over 4 seasons, the Vietnam Traffic Safety Initiative Contest has received 2,000 entries from all over the country; more than 300 news, articles, and reports spread on the media...
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha said that in 2025, with the theme "Proposal of initiatives, solutions or technology solutions to improve traffic safety", the focus is on applying digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), management models, technical equipment, and smart software applications in management, supervision and raising awareness of traffic participants.

According to the contest organizers, the highlights of this year's contest are shown below 3 notable points.
First, the participants are diverse from students, civil servants and especially the large participation of the army and technical schools in the army.
For example, the group of authors Dinh Xuan Duong, Do Minh Tri, Tran Thanh Tung (belonging to Regiment 3, Division 324, Military Region 4, stationed in Trieu Son commune, Thanh Hoa province); author Hoang Anh Tuan, won the Consolation Prize, belonging to the Military Technical Academy...
Second, this year's entries are invested, meticulous and highly applicable.
Third, the authors are passionate about their entries, some soldiers after participating in the final round drove more than 600km from the Vietnam - Laos border region to Hanoi to attend the award ceremony.
After 3 months of implementation, the organizing committee received nearly 600 quality entries with three close topics, reflecting the reality of traffic in Vietnam today, including: "Surfing the internet - Losing my life", "Entering blank spaces" and "Giving keys hastily - Surprising consequences". The contest attracted the wide participation of many classes of people, especially students, young people - the target audience of the program.
The organizing committee said that through the preliminary, final, and final rounds, the judging panel found 19 best works to award a set of prizes including 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and consolation prizes for each theme.
