On the afternoon of October 14, Dan Tri Newspaper coordinated with the Traffic Police Department, Toyota Vietnam Automobile Company and related units to organize the Launching Ceremony of the Vietnam Traffic Safety Initiative Competition in 2025.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha highly appreciated the initiative to initiate and maintain the "Vietnam Traffic Safety Initiative" program over the years.
"Through three seasons of implementation, the program has not only been a competition but has become a social movement with strong influence, attracting thousands of ideas and solutions from scientists, engineers, students, businesses, and people across the country. This is a direction that is very suitable for the national digital transformation trend, especially when Vietnam is aiming to build a smart city, digital infrastructure, green - safe - smart transportation" - Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha said.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs also emphasized 3 key contents for the program to be more effective, including diversifying the forms of organization, selecting highly applicable initiatives and strengthening communication and community education.
Journalist Pham Tuan Anh - Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper said: This year the program continues to be selected by the Organizing Committee with the theme " Proposing initiatives, solutions or technological solutions to improve traffic safety".
The focus of the theme is the application of digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), management models, technical equipment, application of smart software in management, monitoring and raising awareness of traffic participants.
"We call for the active participation of the entire community. The organizers believe that they will continue to receive strong support from you and your team. Each of your initiatives and contributions will hopefully contribute to creating a safer and more civilized society for transportation" - Journalist Pham Tuan Anh said.
The 2025 Vietnam Traffic Safety Initiative Competition will be held from October 2025 to February 2026 on a national scale to seek, encourage and spread initiatives, solutions and propaganda - education ideas to raise awareness of traffic participation, build a safe and civilized traffic culture for the community.
The contest starts accepting entries from October 14 to December 10, encouraging all Vietnamese citizens living in the country or abroad, foreigners living in Vietnam from 16 years old and above to participate.
