According to the Central Central Hydrometeorological Station, a very strong storm, internationally known as YINXING, is currently active in the waters northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines). It is forecasted that by 10:00 a.m. on November 8, the storm will enter the East Sea. By 10:00 a.m. on November 9, the storm will continue to move in the northern East Sea.
To proactively cope with the developments of storm YINXING, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Da Nang City requested the authorities to promptly notify owners of vehicles and boats still operating at sea of the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm so that they can proactively avoid, escape from or not enter dangerous areas.
The Da Nang City Border Guard Command organizes the counting and proactively manages ships going out to sea, regularly providing information on ships to the Command Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense.
The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of departments, branches, localities and units closely monitors the developments of storm YINXING to proactively handle possible situations and maintain contact with the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of the city.
