On August 29, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that the unit will deploy the "Safe Driving Skills Training Campaign", to proactively prevent and reduce traffic accidents from the root.
The program focuses on equipping people with skills to recognize risks and handle common situations when participating in traffic.
The campaign takes people as the center, combining legal propaganda, skills training, and situation handling practice with patrols, inspections and violation handling. Through this, functional forces aim to form a habit of safe traffic participation.
Priority training groups include students from 16 to under 18 years old; students from vocational education institutions, students; workers, laborers, technology drivers; officials, civil servants, public employees; people from 30 to 50 years old; people with motorbike driving licenses (GPLX) for more than 3 years and cases of repeated violations of traffic order and safety (TTATGT), re-offending or having GPLX points deducted.
A noteworthy point is the campaign to build a core "little teachers" team in communes, wards and schools. After being trained, this force will continue to guide and disseminate safe driving skills to people, students and the community.
After the pilot program, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police will deploy the campaign throughout the province from September 2026.
During the peak period from September 1 to December 31, 2026, the police of units and localities organize training according to each topic, focusing on students of vocational schools, colleges, and universities; repeat offenders, re-offenders, or those at high risk of traffic accidents.
The program also targets officials, civil servants, public employees, laborers; drivers at enterprises, delivery workers and technology drivers.
