On August 29, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Dak Lak Provincial Police discovered a case of driving a motorbike using a fake driver's license.
Previously, at about 8 pm on July 31, 2026, in alley 33 Nguyen Van Linh, Ea Knop commune, Dak Lak province, the Traffic Police Team of Ea Kar area stopped and inspected motorbike plate number 47G1-226. XX driven by Mr. T.M.T (born 1973, residing in Ea Knop commune).
Through checking documents, the working group found that the driver's license presented by Mr. T.M.T showed signs of abnormality, suspected of being forged.
The traffic police team then made a record, temporarily seized the driver's license and requested the Criminal Technical Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police to conduct an assessment according to regulations.
The examination results determined that the driver's license Mr. T.M.T presented was fake.
After completing the initial procedures, the Traffic Police Team of Ea Kar area handed over the case to the Ea Knop Commune Police to continue verifying, investigating, clarifying and handling according to their authority.
The incident is a warning to traffic participants about the use of legal driver's licenses. At the same time, it shows that functional forces are strengthening inspections, detecting and handling cases of using fake papers when participating in traffic.
